Hi. I would love to ride with the team Wild crew in the Woodland park Tour de Cure this June. I have signed up already yet another "red rider" just told me that I really should get in contact with you and see if I can become part of this fun team. How would I do that? Would love to get involved.

Fantastic race report, Megan! And congratulations on your first Half Marathon (it's a PR! :-)) It's great that you're paying attention to all the details, for diabetes as well as performance, and I love the mental boost you got from the other runner as you two shared words of encouragement to keep going.

Welcome to TeamWILD!

Hi Christy!!!
It was awesome to meet you!!!! So, I think you should begin with WILDfit. Not that you need the athletic coaching with the walking and exercise classes you do, but the diabetes and nutrition coaching that goes along with WILDfit are awesome!!! Plus you get access to Jenny, diabetes coach, by being in WILDfit. And if you go to the Store tab on the site, you will see that WILDfit is only $105 write now!!!! Then, if you like that, you could do a cycling or running program!!!!
Let me know if you have any more questions. Also, you can call us. My number is 720-252-6693. ~Mari

Christy --
The WILDfit run/walk program may be a good fit for you. While building on the walking that you already do, WILDfit will also give you tons of information that should help you control your blood sugar during and after exercise. Our diabetes and nutrition staff share with you what's happening in your body when you're moving, and how best to fuel that movement!

Hi Mari - we met yesterday at the Children's Diabetes Guild Meeting. I have explored your website and I'm not sure where I would fit....I currently walk my dog daily (about 1-2 miles) and workout 2 to 3 times a week in an exercise class. My needs aren't so much about the workout, but managing my blood sugars during and after. What would you suggest?
